was cleaning out my boys yesterday so let them play in the hallway (rocky is impossible to catch never seen a piggie run so fast) any way we are looking after a robovski hammy (not a chinese as we were told) so we put her in her ball and let her play with the pigs for a bit. watching the guineas play chase with a WTF look in their faces was really cute oh btw piglet may need an ear operation in a week we dont know who to got to our vet admited to not being experienced enough so suggestions please can travel to leeds or york

I used to take my hamster up to the guinea shed to clean him out since I keep all his shavings etc up there. My piggies hated it. Teeth chattering, realy cross. I held him up so they could see him and realise he was only a tiny little thing and the look of utter confusion was hilarious. I reckon hamsters must smell scary but look not scary and it confuses guinea pigs no end....

Probably the same look my cats have on there faces when the pigs run at them not away from them. It confuses them every time. The pigs are interested in the cats and try to sniff them through the wire and the cats run away.

There is a rodent and rabbit specialist in Harrogate. My sister goes from Beverley to take her animals there. If you can go south there are some not too far away from you I don't think but I'm not sure where.

I've heard good things about Swanbridge nr Hull too. I keep thinking of transferring to them but I feel bad leaving the vets I'm with.
