So sorry Kelly. We were in same boat with one of ours a while back. I opted for quality of life knowing the metacam made her feel so much better but that it hastened the kidney disease. Hard because you normally don't want to give mess that you know will cause damage. Big hugs to you x
 
Thanks everyone, I know quality of life is so much more important and she was clearly in so much pain that she was leaking and causing urine scalds so no pain relief just isn't an option. My vet wasn't clear whether he wanted to discuss the meds or see her again so I left a message for him to call me back, that was yesterday morning and I still haven't heard, I will have to call again on Saturday if I haven't heard anything
