My guinea pig named Quill is very new to me. It’s been a lot more difficult to get her comfortable with me. Reece opened up fast since she was alone and depended a lot on me. So I had laid My hand inside the cage. And when I did so quill was curious and she walked over and started nibbling on me but it wasn’t like Reese’s nibbles she had bit hard but not hard enough to draw blood. She had repeatedly did it all over my hand. I had assumed she was testing me out. But it actually left red marks on my wrist/hand and I don’t know what this means so if anybody has answers please tell me.

She was exploring your hand and seeing whether it was edible, especially if your hand was smelling of something interesting. Some piggies are rougher than others. They explore the world with their mouths, learning what is safe and what not.
