Congested Sneezing

I just woke up in the middle of the night to a very weird sound. Nidhogg is looking like he is sneezing, but it isn't a usual sneeze, is makes like a...slurping... congested? noise. He is rubbing his nose and I feel so bad for him. I will try to get to the vet tomorrow but my question is - could this be contagious? Should I separate him from his friend?
 
Thank you! The first available time my vet had was in two days time, but I think I will just go to the 24h walk in vet clinic after school. Just to be sure.
 
Hope he's okay. Yes it can be contagious but if he's showing clinical signs right now then his companion will already be exposed to it so very little point in isolating him right now.
 
Going to the vet in an hour. Will update. Haven't heard any more sneezing, but when he makes noise, it does sound like he has a stuffy nose. I'm so worried :(
He is eating and drinking though, he's munching on some carrots right now.
