I haven't been on the forum for a long time so I don't know if theres a topic for this.

My piggy Spencer just came back from the vet after he was acting very strange. It turns out he was constipated and three hours later he still has some mobility issues and is having some diarrhea. He's hardly eating anything. I heard that apple peals help? How long does it take for him to feel better? I'm worried about him because this is the first time he's gotten sick 8...

Thanks for the links! Spencer had some trouble getting himself comfortable to sleep last night. But this morning he was sitting in front of he water bottle and food bowl eating and drinking. Once he wakes up from his nap, I'll be going him he meds for his ear issue. :<>

I gave Spencer his medicine, but then a few hours later I went to his cage and could see that he could hardly get up. It wasn't until that I picked him up and put him on my lap that he could stand. He usually stands up when I walk into the room. I can tell that he's still in pain, and I'm not sure If I should bring him to the vet again.

EDIT: When I put him in his cage, he moved around a little and stood up. I think he might just be sore.

It's been a week now and he's showing sighs of it again.
I highly doubt it's impaction but I'm bring him into the vet again. :'(

hi there could it be bloat do you think? Has it just happened since he's been on the antibiotics for his ear? Perhaps stop the antibiotics? Make sure he's eating and drinking properly and give him plenty of hay to eat to firm up his poos. Good luck at the vet x x
