Just caught myself talking to Luna, and laughed out loud at the thought, what would I do if she answered back?

Me: Awww who's a cutie, look at you all snuggled up
Luna: Why I do believe you are talking about me!
Me: oh dear did I wake you up?
Luna: Yes hhwwuff I was having a nice little doze, when you started waffling on again about how cute I am. I already know! You tell me about 300 times a day
Ginny: What about me? Have you brought food? Where's my pea flake?
Me: aww what do you want Ginny?
Ginny: I told you, pea flake, now
Luna: did someone say pea flake, I could go for one of those bad boys
Me: Ginny, you've got Luna up now
Ginny: naw you already woke her up. Where's my pea flake?
Me: Does Luna want a pea flake?
Luna: Well if there's one going I wouldn't mind
Me: Here you go Ginny, pea flake?
Ginny: (snatch) nom nom
Me: Luna? Pea flake
Luna: (sniffs pea flake intently) hmm not so sure now
Ginny: pea flake, pea flake, pea flake
Me: Go on then Ginny you have it
Luna: I want a pea flake!
Me: Here you go Luna
Luna: (sniff sniff sniff)
Ginny: pea flake, pea flake PEA FLAKE
Me: OK Ginny calm down, here's a another one. So Luna, do you not want a pea flake?
Luna: (sniff sniff) OK, I'll have this one, it smells better than the last 2.
Me: (sighs)
Ginny: PEA FLAKE, PEA FLAKE
Me: no Ginny, you've had enough, big fat piggy

Anyone got the number for pea flake anonymous? LOL

I do and i'm not ashamed to admit it, baby voice and all lol. Mostly it's a one sided conversation though with much looks of "Is this chick mad" from the piggies (and the family).

I always tell mine how lovely they are and ask them if they would like some yummies. I think you can all guess what the answer to that would be!

Haha that really made me smile:

Yeah, I do talk to mine, it would be interesting if they could talk back. But perhaps embarrassing.
I tell Ruby what a sweet girl she is (she absolutely is), Rosie what a brave girl she is (she tries to be brave, she's a nervy one), and I'll ask her how her chubby-cheeks are (I just love her cheeks), can't help but ask Penny how her fluffy little bottom is (her bottom is a ball of fluff), and Freddie what a big, brave boar he is (even though he isn't at times)
Ruby sits on her hind quarters and reaches up quite often to sniff at things, she looks like a furry ginger pear. Sometimes I call her 'my little pear'

Rosie is the most demanding of food, Freddie the least, and once asleep is sometimes hard to wake, never met such a deep-sleeping piggy. I imagine a conversation would be similar with those two as it would be for yours, only substitute it for coriander :)

I tell mine to stop being rude to one another.

Poor Dexter is always left out of the tissue box.

They aren't very good conversationalists, two seconds is all you get before they scury off to find a hiding spot or more hay.

I find cats are far better listeners than guinea pigs XD

I talk to mine all the time, they often answer me. My OH tells me what the piggies are saying about me, him and each other. Peanut has a very posh voice and an incredibly extensive vocabulary, he fancies himself a poet. Spike is a ruffian and always telling us to shut up. I know we are completely mad and totally piggie smitten. XD
