As many of you know Cookie has been really poorly over the past few weeks, I just want to thank everyone for their support via the forum, pm's and text. We really appreciate it and still can't believe we have our beautiful girl with us. She is doing so well, vets check up tomorrow and hoping to come off the steroid!

If there are any LOTR fans here, I think I finally figured that Hobbits have disguised themselves as piggies! (For those who don't/haven't seen it, Hobbits have a legendary love of food, and so they start their days of with breakfast... and then second breakfast!)

Awww, Cookie is just so sweet, and I'm really glad she is getting on so much better.

I love the pic of her awaiting the mythical second tea! I think the ideal guinea pig day (from the pig's point of view) would go something like this - early morning tea, breakfast, morning coffee, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, high tea, supper, bedtime snack, midnight snacks! They're always trying to convince us that they're about to keel over from malnutrition! Still, although the demands of a healthy appetite can be very wearing, it is so worrying if that appetite disappears!
