Just wondered with the weather hotting up what you guys do to keep your pigs cool? I've got some of those non toxic picnic cool pack thingies that you put in the freezer. Any good for pigs?
I don't want to cut any more of Angus's hair unless I have to!

I tend to half fill a juice, water or pop bottle with water and then freeze it. Wrap it in a towel when you get it out and give it to the pigs to rest against.

The bottom of my freezer is full of half filled frozen Evian bottles, haha.

I have one of the scratch and newton ice pods (because I found it in a charity shop for £2) and I also use small pop bottles partially filled with water. My piggies also have a medium size flatish stone in their hutch as this serves a purpose of anchoring it a little more and providing something cool for them to lean against to help regulate their body heat :)
