Hi, we have 2 boars who live indoors in a c and c cage. Since we got them in early spring they’ve built up to about 8 hours a day in their run. They have tunnels and hides with blankets and I bought one of the mini hutches on legs that go inside the run. They seem pretty snuggly in there with hay, blankets and fleeces.
of course the weather is changing, the RSPCA website says not to put piggies out in weather below 15, it’s currently 14 here, what do you guys do? I’m thinking maybe put them out for 2 hours or so while its a bit cooler but not cold. Thanks.

Once it gets to autumn you just play it by ear - the weather can change so suddenly! Anything below 15 is too cold for piggies. Perhaps see how things go this afternoon and whether it warms up a bit.
Its predicted to be 18 here later today but right now its grey and fairly breezy and has been drizzling this morning. Mine live in my shed but they probably won't go on the lawn at all today (even if the grass does dry) even though they are more used to outside conditions. I know once the breeze picks up mine just hide the whole time so clearly aren't enjoying lawn time.

Thanks for your reply, it makes sense to play it by ear. I’m guessing they’ll be a few months when it won’t be warm enough, they’ll just have to have extra indoor run time.

Yes, for indoor piggies once autumn gets here it can hit and miss as to whether they can come out - you know how strange autumn can be - sun one minute, cold the next! Once the daytimes are below 15 degrees, they need to stay inside until around April

You also need to take into consideration the temp variation between the house and garden.
If they are indoors and it is anything much over 5 degrees cooler outsdie then i wouldn't put them out.
A good rule of thumb is if you go outside for 15 minuted and feel you need a jacket or jumper then its too cold to put your piggies out and expect them to adjust.
