Has any one tried the copdock mill guinea pig food My rabbits have the fancy rabbit and the course rabbit mixes mixed together just wondering if its worth a go it's £4.99 for a 15kg bag seems really cheap but saying the rabbit food is too it's £6.49 for 20kg the rabbits seem ok on it no upsets touch wood

if your bunnies eat ity, and it goes down a treat then I'm sure your piggies would like the guinea pig one, you should just check out what ingredients there are in it..i always check out labels i must look a right weirdo but i want to make sure my pigs are eating the best lol you dont want something plain and bland with no nutrition, a good protected vit c content is always good, a timothy hay based dry food is best but i havent seen one around here where i live in lancashire

hey just checked out this website, because there is a copdock near me,& found out it's just down the road from where i live, and i've never heard of it before. Will keep it in favourites.Just in case

Hi. Ive been using Copdock muesli for a number of months now. My piggies love it! :smitten:

I had always had them on pets at home pellets before now - but I'm getting so many pigs that it was costing me a fortune. I mix one sack of copdock with one sack of the pellets, and the pigs sort through the pellets to get to the muesli every day!

I have had no probems with fur condition or health since introducing the new food, and the babies seem to love it too as they can get their teeth round it a good day or so earlier than the pellets. I tend to leave any uneaten grains in their bowls when I top it up everyday, and touch wood ive not had any problems of them refusing any part of the muesli so far!

I definately rate this product - and I know my piggies do... when I ran out a few weeks ago they refused the pellets on their own! My only trouble is trying to find a supplier that keeps it in stock - I have to buy two sacks at a time to make sure I have enough to last until their next delivery! :(

Agree. Since I have never heard of it and can't find any information on the website about it I can not really comment. :)

i live a ten minute drive away, do they sell pellets though cause my lot don't have museli?
Recently tried to change them over from p@h nuggets to Burges guinea excel, but they didn't like it, they just picked out all the p@h nuggets and left the rest.

Hi thanks for the reviews I brought some, and also mix it, usually with the p@h pellets they, love it :) Just brought another bag today I noticed its gone up by 50p Can't complain though a 15kg bag for £5.49 :)

The Guinea's have Guinea Pig + Vit C
The Buns have Nutty Munch Course Rabbit + Fancy Rabbit with alfalfa + Jolly Roger Rabbit they have all 3 mixed as where I get it from it goes as soon as it comes If you know what I mean That way if theres not one it doesnt matter you dont have to change the diet as its mixed anyway

Do you know if they do smaller bags than 12.5KG? - I am expecting two Guinea Pigs in a few weeks and it would take them forever to eat that amount.
