Can i just give them both a corn on cob to share? I mean put whole thing in husk in all? They can just eat it all including the stringy stuff that is below the husk?

Just curious.

Thanks

Yes they will eat it with joy but don't feed it too often.

Apparently the 'stringy stuff' is called silks. I learned this from a member on here, and they love it. I used to pull it off...my poor deprived pigs. x

My lot like the silks and leaves more than the corn rolleyes

I've not seen any with leaves on in the shops for a couple of months now :(

Yeah mine prefer eating the leaves and stringy stuff more than the corn too. I think they are mean't to be quite fattening, so shouldn't have them too often :)

I take some of the silk's off and leave a little, since having piggie's I am seeing alot of veggie's going off the shelve's, like carrot's with top's as well as corn cob's.
