Corn?

I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s unsafe but it’s not exactly recommended. Sure, as humans, fresh is always healthier, but we don’t always feel like getting fresh and frozen food won’t really harm us given it’s just from time to time.

This isn’t to say not to buy fresh—piggies absolutely need fresh veggies in their diet (I can’t imagine frozen leafy greens are a thing)—but I don’t really see frozen as a set in stone no provided it doesn’t make up a majority of the fresh intake.

So, in a scenario like this, I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to throw a bit in with their veggies to spice things up a bit.

This is likely a little late but just wanted to throw in my two cents. Feel free to disagree.

Piggies should not be eating frozen veggies, if you are unable to source fresh veg picking some fresh grass would be much better for them!

Although some may argue "it wont do any harm"... well imagine you were some guinea pig's pet hooman, and piggy said, "hey I have some leftover caecotrophs and hay, can I feed these to my hooman?" Well yes, it may not do any harm... but it probably isnt what they want to eat... and isnt nutritionally beneficial...

Personally I think frozen defrosted veg will be too soggy and may breed bacteria as it defrosts and as it is designed to be cooked may be contaminated with bacteria- it may be fine, but it could trigger bloat and not be fine... if in doubt, leave it out!

piggies' guts are very different from our own as they have evolved to eat a very different diet. Veggies that have been frozen/cooked have been structurally altered and can cause bloat in piggies. It is it worth the risk.
