Cornelius deserves an Oscar

One day, this pig will be the death of me. Today he decided to go into a 4 hour long hunger strike. Puffed up, spiky fur, he really looked like he was going to die in the next 10 minutes. I was frantically checking him over, checking if I might have hurt him somehow when cutting his nails or putting him back in the cage after cleaning. Couldn’t find anything. I even gave him metacam to no avail. He just looked like death itself. That was until the veggie drawer was opened at 5:30. As soon as he heard that noise he shot out of his hiding place and tucked in like nothing ever happened. And all of that because I had the audacity to cut his nails.

I really don‘t know that to say to his antics anymore. I tried to talk to him but he has told me that he will totally do this again should I ever try to cut his nails again He has been absolutely fine ever since the veggie drawer was opened yesterday so at least I know how to get him out of his „episode“
