Does anyone have a picture of what these look like when in-situ? I have looked at the link in the suppliers list on the forum, but cannot actually work out what it is I would need and the quantity of materials needed (I appreciate this would be dependent upon the size of run they were going to have)?

I would be using it indoors. I live in a flat and all my floors are carpet, what do other people use as flooring within the C&C's?

Thanks

I have a huge plank of wood underneath my C+C cage... stuff still gets out but i have cardboard cabletied to the sides too because cindy is preggers ;D

I use lino instead of correx :) It works really well and it's really cheap, especially if you buy the ugly off cuts. (hey, why does it matter what it looks like anyway? ;))

You can just make out the correx (white stuff under the towels and showing on the ramp) in this photo. It comes in large sheets, can't remember the exact size but I think mine was 8' x 4' and cost around £10/12 a sheet. Don't let suppliers tell you that it won't fit in your car, it will! You can gently roll it into a large tube, just make sure you have some strong tape with you when you go to collect it. I only have a Honda Civic and it fitted in the hatchback without any probs - mind you, I couldn't see very well out of the back window! As daftscotslass says, it's the stuff "for sale" signs are made out of - if you know any friendly estate agents it might be worth asking if they have any old signs that you could "recycle". Good luck with your search.

I just realised that you have it under the towels too ;D Your setup is great :)

That looks great! Does anyone who uses Correx have any probs with their piggies chewing it? I was wondering if it was easily chewable, or even if normally bitey piggies bother/want to chew it?

Thanks baby-wilson, although it isn't exactly like the pics any more!

Boureki only one of my girls chews the correx - mind you, she chews anything and everthing ;D She doesn't seem to bother with the edges that but up to the grids but that is probably because they are flush with the sides and therefore not easy to get to. When I first made the ramp with a stand up edge on both sides she took great delight in eating it and boy could she eat it quickly, hence the side away from the grids got chopped off pronto - now she leaves it alone, although she does try to eat the flotex carpet on the ramp if she sees it uncovered - strange piggy! 98)
