I’ve made my guinea pigs a fleece tunnel and they love it. It is floppy like a cuddle cup but with an extra exit. They love curling up and sleeping in it on my knee.

Is this a safe sleeping option?
Can it be left overnight in the sleeping area of the hutch?
Can this replace a plastic igloo? (which they love to hide in but will probably soon outgrow)

Here’s a photo:

The material is fleece and I’ve stitched an old tea towel inside but I doubt they’ll wee in it as they seem to have designated a corner of their bedroom as a toilet!

Thanks in advance for any advice/opinions/experience anyone can share x

Yes it's fine to leave in overnight. Mine have these in the winter in the hutch so that they can snuggle down in them. Mine are cotton on the outside and fleece on the inside so that in the summer I can turn them inside out so that the cotton is on the inside and the fleece is on the outside.

That’s an excellent idea about the cotton (and much easier to sew than double fleece!) and using them for extra warmth in the winter. Thank you!
