called in at the farm shop near to were l live yesterday to see if they had any hay in,they had some good size bales of really nice meadow hay,at £5 a bale, they said when this lot is sold its going to be hard to found any more of the good hay, because of the wet summer, and what they do get will double in cost. l got 2 bales and they have put another couple to one side for me to pick up next week.(will need to get 2 more wheelie bins )it helps to get to know your local shops.the price of feeds have started to go up in the shops for the same reason.just had a delivery of 60kg of Madisons at £52, thats delivered to the door,so plenty to see us thought to spring. any one esle note the rises?

I have noticed a steady increase in the cost of pet food in general over the last few months. I will have to look into buying a large quantity of hay if the price is going to double!
