Rusty just all of a sudden started coughing, I picked her up and she kept coughing. She's stopped right now. Is something wrong?

generally if * have any worry you seek a vet asap, as some times something small can turn big like a cough could be a cold or could be URI so yeah get the piggy checked, weigh him and make sure the piggy is eating and drinking

hope this helped x

She's stopped coughing now. The dinner I made was a little spicy and cinomon was in the air, I'm wondering if that was it?
Oh and she was also drinking right before the coughing started, could it have(as with humans) 'gone down the wrong tube?'
What just scared me was how much pain she looked like she was going through 8...
And yes that did help. thank you :) x

well i would than suggest keeping an eye our for a day or two if she continues than off to the vets

eeeek Rusty don't you go worrying your mom!
Whee hope that she's aspirated (just like Velvet did the other day) and that all will be fine now XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I also boiled up water and put into a mug and held Velvet over the top of this so she'd get a little bit of the steam, you have to be careful you don't put Rusty too close tho...... this clears up Velvet when she's a bit rattly. (i'm thinking our hay is a little dusty at the moment too grr)
