Just seen a tread on coughing, but it is locked

Just a bit of info , my Gulliver coughes in this warm humid atmosphere. it can be quite scar because he wrenches his hole body as if he has something stuck in his windpipe .
He had been doing this for years, but only on days like this ? He does it for a few minutes then stops.
No idea why, but he never comes to any harm, but after al this time l still have kittens when l see him do it. :vom:

Though if a pig do,s cough it may be for another reason , (hay dust, respiritory, distress due to many things ie dust from hay , fungus spors , pestersides ect , ) and must always be monitored very car fully , if in any doubt, see a vet A S A P

Coughing can have a range of causes; but hot humid weather is certainly hard on the body. I wonder whether Gulliver's coughing could be heart-related, as the heart and circulatory system are under extra pressure, or if he has got a mild case of lung disease that could be very difficult to diagnose? It took me two years to have Ffraid's off and on breathing issues finally diagnosed by Kim Maddock as mild upper and lower lung disease.

PS: We close threads down if they have been meddled with without permission by the mods and are no longer making full sense, or if they get out of hand.

Hi , he has had all the tests , and my vet found nothing , his conclusion is that ad he is a very small boar
it could be that he was the runt and has had some sort of minor birth trauma.
