Ok so I have recently been having some weird clicking noises from my guinnea pig cage and I didn’t know what it was until I saw one of my piggies make it and it looked like he was coughing. Should o bring him in to the vet because he frequently makes that weird clicking coughing noise. Should I separate him from the other piggie if he is sick?

If you are at all worried take him to the vet. A vet would rather see a piggy that is well with an anxious owner than an ill piggy and and owner that has left it too late. I wouldn't separate cos chances are that if one piggy is not well the other one will have got it too and they are used to being together best not separate as you would have to rebond them again.

If you hear this noise frequently and not just as a one-off, it may be worth having him checked outby a vet. It is usually the sign that is nose is a little bunged up.

I would also recommend to consider changing the hay brand. Some piggies can be very sensitive to hay dust and/or pollen.
