One of my guinea pigs coughed a few times last night, i thought nothing much of it but i hear it again today. I'm panicking because all of the vets near me are closed. What should I do?
 
Take a deep breath. Was it at any particular time (eg while eating or drinking?) as sometimes greedy piggies can cough when they have shoved too much into their little mouths.
Are there any other symptoms (such as noisy, fast or laboured breathing; being lethargic; sticky or watery eyes). Is he eating and drinking as normal (including hay)?
