scooby did have a cough when he was at the RSPCA & they had him on something, trying to get hold of them to confirm, to get him better which he did seem to be. Noticed him cough twice over the last 2 days so just wondered if this was unusual or likely to be the same thing again.
Plan to find out what it was & get some from vets but thought i'd ask to see if there might be any innocent reasons for such a cough.

Fugly sometimes coughs if hay is dusty or if he has eaten too quickly, he is a greedy little pigger

you can blame the OH for that one ;D ;D ;D ;D

My piggies caugh sometimes and it's nothing to worry about if it's just every now and then (like with us I guess). If it's more regular then probably best to take him to the vets to have him checked out.

One of my boars has the odd cough, not often but happens if he eats to quick. x

not heard him since so i suspect it may just be like you say but certainly keeping a close eye on him :D

or he's pretending he has man flu to get attention from the girls! ;D

It could be a URI (Upper respiratory infection). Thats what my Linus had its symptoms are coughing and sneezing and other stuff like watery eyes. If they had him on something it probably was on antibiotic for it. Its really common in petstore piggies, but other pigs can get it to. I'd get your piggy to the vet especially if it keeps up. URI's can be deadly.

Here's a website on guinea pig symptoms and care for URIs.
