It’s not a particularly clear picture but Do you mean the white in the eye?

Is it within the eye or is it a fluid on the eye?

There is a condition where bony tissue forms within the eye:
Osseous metaplasia is a white ring which forms around the eye.
Osseous choristoma is a white spot which forms in the eye.

Both are the same thing - bony formation within the eye.
It’s not painful for them but can limit their eyesight. However, sight is not their strongest sense at all so they are unbothered by the condition and will continue to live quite normally and happily.

But we cannot make a diagnosis and given you havent written anything on the post, then I can only assume you mean the white part and this condition is the first which comes to mind

Hi

Unfortunately, the picture is not clear enough to show whether it is the conjunctiva that's become visible because the tension of eyelid is no longer as strong and the eyelid has started sagging, which is a harmless condition called fatty or pea eye that happens mostly in ageing/older piggies, or whether there is a clear milky white rim forming around the iris (osseous metaplasia), which another unsightly but essentially harmless condition.

Can you please take your guinea pig out of the cage and post a clearer picture of the eye in order to give us a chance to do more than just guess wildly.
