We took George to the vet to check Dobbie had nothing contagious as a little weight loss has been noticed (nothing major but i wasnt taking any chances) the vet said george was in perfect health, we explained everything what happened at my sisters, she said they would of been stressed by the geese plus the change of enviroment and said dobby was probably pushed over his limit, obv she couldnt be certain but could it of just been stress? I feel so bad about whats happened to dobby

Also the weight loss for george has been put down to resettling plus stress at farm, they have all lost a couple grams over the 3 days i have been weighing them, though kreature had gained this morn, they had lost their wheek when they came home but patch and kreature have found theirs, all are eating fine, with that info what loss is acceptable and what isnt?

I want to be on the ball and know when to go back. They are being daily weighed until we are happy to go weekly.

I am really sorry to hear the sad news about Dobby. Although stress could have been a factor there are many other possibilities. Piggies hide illnesses well. You gave him a great life and loved him very much. Try and focus on that.

Piggy weights fluctuate daily so would not be overly concerned about a few grams loss but if it continues as a trend then go back to the vets.

Huge hugs. x

Thank you for your reply, its just so hard not knowing the cause, i really feel like i have let dobby down, if i didnt ask my sis to have them he would probably still be with us.
