Thank you so much, nothing pops out no matter where I press (softly of course wouldnt want to hurt the lovely wee ones), so it must be girls (I hope). If anyone is pregnant I will find the pups new homes and ask you for advice regarding their care during this, I am so glad I found this forum!

I would say get a vet to check their sex, it's best to be sure & pics on here are hard to decipher sometimes rolleyes

I think they are Texel type piggies, long haired like a Rex but with long curly hair, so be prepared for lots of grooming & bathing & hair trimming to keep their coats tidy :)

So you think their fur will get longer?
Will take them to get sex checked to be 100% certain however grateful that people think they look like girls so I can sleep calmly tonight:<>:)
Their mom has long silky fur, looks like a coronet but she had shorter hair.
Do you know what kind of combs I will need? Do they need combing at the moment or only when/if fur gets longer? Many thanks for your help!

Oh yes much longer rolleyes

There's a description of them here:

This shows pictures of all types & you can see how different a Rex is!

I use a normal small animal comb on my Rexes, but I don't know much about long haired types, hopefully someone can advise on brushes/combs for long hairs soon :)

I would give them a few days to settle (after sexing them) then start daily handling/grooming with a soft brush to get them used to it.

I'd say girls but I would get a vet to check and also give them the once over health wise, weigh them and give you some advice about pregnancy! If they've been with boys there is a good chance they could be pregnant. Good luck!

Right now I think they look texel or merino, the hair on their heads is a bit difficult to identify to see if they have crests, will take photos in a few days once they settled in more:<>

with my texel girl i use a soft brush first to remove any tangles (and also to loosen her curls) and then finish off using a wide tooth comb - the problem i have with my texel girl is that her curls are so tight in places that a normal pet brush/comb would pull too much and cause her too much pain.

I keep the hair around my girls bottom quite short so it doesn't drag or get tangled in pee/poop. ~I give her a bath every 6-8wks or when i feel she needs it.

this brush is similar to the one i use:

give them a couple of days to settle in and then start grooming on a regular basis. if you offer some of their favourite foods the first few times they'll soon associate grooming with being a good thing and worth looking forward to... :)
