Country Farm Food For Guinea Pigs

Hi I have recently changed my guinea pig food to country farm guinea pig food that can be found at b&ms , or pound stretcher. It says on the back that its very nutritional , and good for your guinea pigs health. Just wondering if anyone one else has an reviews on this food as it is quite cheap and I am a bit worried that it hasn't got everything my guinea pig needs in it? Any replies would be great thanks :-)
 
Is that the one made from coloured biscuits? I am not sure, but I don't think it is meant to be fed as the only food.
I would just use it as treats and give something like Excel pellets or Harrington's pellets as the main food.
The thing to look for in any dry piggie food is Less calcium and More Vitamin C and fibre. :tu:

I have looked into it on the internet and have checked the back of the food bag and it says it is to be fed as normal food alongside hay, not sure why u thought it should be fed as treats. But thanks anyway for the reply. :-)
 
I would have a look at the ingredients. The best guinea pig foods are grainless. Maybe you could post a photo of the ingredients ...

Perhaps I was wrong then. It just doesn't look like normal pellets. They are all different shapes and colours. Did you mean Country Value instead of Country Farm? That's what is on the B&M stores website.
