Yes, it is perfectly safe to give, but most piggies don't like it. mallethead
 
I will only pop a little in this evening then and see how they go!

Only thing ive noticed they dont eat completly so far is brocolli :)
 
Just been out to put my two to bed and guess what............they have turnt their nose up at the courgette! Its been nibbled but nothing further!

What is a sensible veg with high vit C that is safe to give say every other day?

My piggies don't like them either :)
They had a slice of banana each the other evening, sniffed and walked off but it had gone an hour later :{
 
haha classic, I've tried mine with courgette occassionally cos my aunt gives me some stuff from her allotment and the courgette was huge (too much just for me) but they had a nibble and then gave me the stink eye for trying to trick them into thinking it was cucumber

Any colour? They had yellow this evening, I have a orange one going spare in the fridge but not heard a mention of that one before!

I like corgettes, but then I have them cooked :))
 
Mine will eat any colour bell pepper, also broccoli is good for vit c as well

Really? When I go and check on them in the morning, they give me the scared look, but have enough courage to run at me, steal brocolli and run back :P
 
Mine had tomatoes this morning for breakfast & it didn't even look like they have touched them so that's another item deleted off my list of veggies/fruit lol. They have curly kale to try for tea tonight. I'm sure that will be gone in a flash!

My OH grew courgettes in growbags last year which we tried on the girls but they were not impressed. OH was slightly insulted :))
 
Mine LOVE corgettes! They will eat literally anything, i'm a very lucky piggy slave!

I have brought melon today, can they eat all of it or not the "skin" part you peel? lol hope this makes sense

not tried courgette with mine yet...will give it a go. So far they wont eat any bell peppers but love carrot, broccoli, apples and of course...cucumber!
