Hi,
This is a long shot but I'm looking for a courier the bring me a skinny guinea pig from Cumbria to Staffordshire. The quotes i've had are stupid money.
He has hip displasia so he cant be bred so i said i would have him. I'd be grateful if anyone could help.

He is a total charmer! What kind of fees have you been quoted?
 
£238 I emailed Becky and she said it was way over what she would pay, so i know i can get cheaper. I hope i can get this sorted we want him so much :)
 
How should I do that? I'm sorry i've never done anything like this, or even heard of it till yesterday!mallethead
 
Just had another company tell me they cant do it for any less as its a 12 hour trip for them, which is fair enough!:(
 
That is a shocking amount of money! I think you would be cheaper having an overnight trip! In fact it cost me less than that to move my horse from Glasgow to Bradford!
 
I dont know what to do! I'm determined to get it sorted and i will but that sort of money is stupid! i will try asking my dad, but i seriously doubt he will take us.mallethead
 
were looking into that, if the laptop chooses to work:)) do you think he'll be ok on the train? thanks for helping.
 
I think he would be totally fine as long as you had all he needed such as food and water. We often take the piggies on long car journeys and they are fine.
 
Romily or Piggiewiggie, seriously, if i can help i will, i have a car, if you can cover my petrol and its at time that suits, i could maybe help, let me know details yeah?
 
I'm heading down the M1 on Saturday as far as Leicester Forest Services on a bunny run, if that helps at all, I hit the M1 at Sheffield, I'm hoping to be at leicester to meet my bunny for about 2.30pm.

I am just offering advice, I'm not actually involved in the piggy exchange but I am sure piggiewiggie will be grateful of your offer!

Hi thats so kind of you but i have to pick him up after the 24th of october as i wont have the money for him tell then, but thank you so much xx

Sorry for not explaining, a piggy train is pretty much what people are already offering to do, transport your piggie either some or all of the way for you. Sometimes it can be if they happen to be doing that journey, or will do it if you cover petrol costs for them etc

If we knew when we were having to go to Birmingham for Stevens treatment I could have offered to help but we still haven't got any dates unfortunately.
