Just came across mention of a book published recently by Syl Waters called "Who Killed Patrick?: Guinea Pig Cozy Crime Investigation (A Mr Bob Murder Mystery Book 1)"

Has anyone heard of it, or read it? It has some good reviews... Apparently the author is a "crazy guinea pig lady" but doesn't actually own piggies due to living in a small flat.

Not sure how a piggy investigates murder. Which of the forum piggies do we think would be a good crime solving detective?

spud would be a good detective, he likes to sit and watch everything and often seems like he's deep in thought. Gundham not so much he's a bit frantic and wild and if it's not going to get him food it's not worth his precious time. unless it's the case of "who pooped in the food dish" or "who didn't give their brother a turn with the treat ball" in which case I think I could have a good guess.

Dexter wouldn’t be a good detective.
he would sniff some evidence from a distance, head in the right direction but then run right past it, walk around in circles trying to work out where it had gone and then forget what he was doing and go off and do something else

Christian wouldn't be a great detective either! He would wheek until he got what he wanted and then run off happy. Meg would just sit there and stare, Patsy would look scared, but cute, Dennis wouldn't do anything and The Ever Beautiful Betsy would just stun whoever it was that was doing wrong with her incredible floofy winter pyjamas!

Ralph would rumble and chase and mount any villain into submission. Evie would sidle up to them, pretend to be their friend and then steal evidence from right under their nose. Holly would stand at the corner on surveillance - keeping well out of the way.
