Crazy Season Time

Having issues tonight.

Sasspy is top pig and is four years old, Widget (2nd pig) is two and Vimto (bottom pig) is four

Vimto is no issue, sits at bottom of the hierarchy and chills out and eats that is all she cares about - simple pig :) .

Widget is in season and is really pushing Sasspy at moment, constantly rumbling at her for the past 20 hrs... She will even just lie outside Sasspy's house while Sasspy is sitting in there making annoyed noises.

Widget keeps facing off and rumbling at her now and Sassp is teeth chattering then flying at her.. but Widget keeps going back for more. I would have expected Widget to have got those hormones out the way now but she seems to be trying to seize the opportunity to stage a piggy coup.

Have just put a load of hay in to distract them all and they are all harmonious eating it but I know widget will soon be aggravating her again... Girls eh - who'd have them.

You should see and hear not so little Mabel when she's in season provoking Mollie (who's top pig in every way). It's like she can't resist poking, nudging, chasing and nipping Mollie until Mollie kicks, bucks and pees at her to calm her down. Naughty hormones :lol!:
 
One of mine has been in season, needless to say, things weren't harmonious in the shed, plus the new arrival, the little darlings have kept me on my toes this weekend! :D
 
Same here....

I can always tell when I see the hideys have been moved. Dorothy pushes them about in a stroppy manner whilst rumbling and generally being grumpy. I have also just tried the large pile of hay trick to see if it quietens things down for a bit....
 
:) I preferred Treacle's way of peeing at Cookie. It is the flying pig attack of Sasspy that scares me to death... it is like a Ninja leap! Widget just went flying backwards into the waterbottle, they are both coming out in a minute for a mutual bonding of the hated laptime if they don't chill out :))

Heads in the same food bowl now.... Women! maybe peace is about to break out...
