My piggies have always had a very soft spot for parsley. Very high on the piggymeter also is celery leaves (grow easy in my garden) and carrot leaves. i'm lucky, one of my colleagues grows some on her allotment, so she eats the carrots and I get the leaves for my boys. I think it's a technique worth exploring, expecially in these times when the purse doesn't stretch quite as far... see if your neighbours, friends, family grow anything worth giving to the little fluffs rather than putting it in the compost heap. It's just as environmentally friendly and has the advantage of making more people happy!
I should try giving mine watercress again. I did a couple of years ago and they didn't like it. But I got quite a few new piggies. Maybe they like it and teach the older ones to like it!
went to buy cress especially last week after seeing this thread. Pwah! guineas snobbed it completely. However the carrot leaves went down a treat! Now I have 3 boxes left and I don't even like the thing (cress that is)... suppose I'll have to have egg and cress sarnies... :Ayociexp122:
