can someone recommend me critical care? I thought i had ordered it but it was bio lapis i got. My girl has been off food today. I just want some as a precaution. She was at the vet yest so i think she might be in a huff. She has only ate a bit of melon and a mange tout today not like her at all. Thanks x

Oxbow or supreme science recovery food is what i would recommend. Its usually available from your local vets and possibly online.

You can always soak some pellets for now and syringe that? I hope she starts feeling better soon. :(

x.

I got some from Amazon-fine blend critical care, about £10, takes a couple of days, but is handy to have in for later

This is the one we use http://www.vetuk.co.uk/rabbit-suppl...197/oxbow-critical-care-for-herbivores-p-2426
If you order before 1 pm it tends to be delivered the next day.
Hope you wont need it but it is useful to have in. If you tell ginger you have ordered it I bet she will eat properly just to be contrary! :(|)
Keep an eye on her weight as its a good indication of illness.
Just curious if the vet gave her teeth a good check?

It's best to supplement if they're loosing weight... that's something i've learnt from experience.
When they checked her toofies did they also check the back ones? the molars? also sometimes they can get little spurs on the side of their toofies and these can cause havoc too :(
Best of luck i hope the vets can find out what the problem is
Sending some healing vibes XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

thanks glynis. yeah he was right in her mouth with a wee torch thing. she's seems brighter this morning and most of her hay for her wee dome was gone and she had pulled a bit of melon in her bed and there was only a tiny bit left. I have ordered critical care, but am just feeding her mushed pellets through a syringe at the moment.
