Junior Guinea Pig
Hello.
A few months ago I took my guinea pig to the vets because she was making croaking noises.
She has them very rarely (every couple of months), so at the actual appointment she didn't make the noises. The vet did a check up on her (checked her heart, ears, in her mouth, and stretched her legs), and they said they couldn't see any issues. They gave me some metacam just in case she was making the noises when she was in pain.
I gave her the metacam over the week as instructed, and she started making the noises less often. Problem is, I'm unsure if this is due to the pain medicine.
Maybe it's nothing, maybe she just gets hay dust in her nose every few months, (her croaking has never last for longer than 3 days), but I still worry about her.
She has just started making the noise again after 2 months, and I finally managed to get a recording of the noises (which was hard to do in the past).
She was also munching on a treat at the time, but I think the croaking noise is much louder. If anyone has any pigs that make noises like this and can explain what's going on, it would be really appreciated.
(Also i should mention that I have sent in a question about this in the past, but I thought I'd ask about it again, as this time I have an actual video where you can hear the noises.)
I hope this link thing works, thanks in advance.
