well i wasnt offended by it , and i think she is a ***** myself for what she did.

anyways its about what happened to this piggie is the point and i feel really sad for that poor little critter that had to go through what it did, i accept theirs alot of ill people out there but to throw it out the window! she must be a real nutter!

I was going to start a thread about this yesterday, glad I didn't cause i too would probably have called the person that word. I could have cried too when I read what this person done there was absolutely no need for it. Also on the subject of young children seeing words they shouldn't, might get hanged for this but, if the adult comes on to the forum and sees a word they think is unsuitable for their children is it not perhaps best to skip that thread with said word until the children are no longer in the vicinity then report the offensive word to the moderators? Just a thought don't mean to offend anyone!

I think it's a very appropriate insult, but put in an inapproriate place. Mistakes happen, y'all need to chillax. Words are only harmful if you allow them to be, you're making it much worse than it actually is.

(And on that note, I grew up around my family swearing constantly but never copied it.)

On the actual subject - words escape me.

Just read the details of this from the link on page one. This is disgusting, saying she has medical reasons in no excuse in my book. You'll get some jumped up psychologist saying "Oh but she has this problem and that problem" and she will get a slap on the wrist and a fine.

IF she was in USA she would get locked up for this. I wish sometimes we had some of the rules that they have in the USA, the animals get much better care by their owners if we did.

And before anyone jumps on me I dont include anyone from here in that statement.

In the USA there are alot more bad things that happen to animals in USA they even have boarders or puppy mills etc :'(

And in some countries they eat guinea pigs beat there is not much meat on one

We have puppy farms over here as well but you dont get to hear about them as much.

At least in America when they find someone doing something they shouldnt they deal with it quickly and dont let it drag on for months.

Apparantly they taste like chicken. I came across some images when I was looking for Twinkle's breed and was searching out Peruvians. Yikes they roast them whole! Now I am one who can stomach a certain website that covers the 'real' news in all it's glory I won't say what it is incase our younger peeps search it out! The guinea pig cooked pics make me feel ill! Awful, how could they do that?

True but ive never heard of any puppy mills or anything over here only abandonments etc but over there the majority of the dogs etc are emaciated and most people live with millions of cat/dogs at one time :-\ Ive watched animal planet too much ;D

It does taste like chicken, we had rabbit stew maybe that made me a meatarian :D I dont like veg ;D Ive also seen some horrid pictures like that too just searching for guinea pigs :-\

I agree with Vicky - the UK is full of puppy mills that are kept in business because so many people want cheap "pure-bred" puppies. When you said boarders, iloveanimals, did you mean hoarders? Yes, the UK is full of them too. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it's going on.

Regarding eating guinea pigs, people can comment on how horrible it is all they want. We won't be eating our pets. In South America guinea pigs are part of a staple diet and have been for thousands of years like chickens to the UK. In other cultures cows are sacred yet the British eat millions of them a year. It's all about culture.

I absolultely loathe it when the excuses come out for animal cruelty and people start to get away with it. A ban on keeping animals if not a fine or imprisonment should be immediate. There's no excuse for it - why throw an animal and not an ornament? When does the abuse move from animals to humans? Funny how it doesn't get overlooked then.

Totally agree with you there an yes sorry i meant hoarders/boarders whatever ;D I no that its their culture but its how they cook them too its sad as i watched a programme i think

For someone who has not been part of this forum even a week has an awfull lot to say. Ok I agree it was an awfull thing to do to any animal. But how dare you say enough about the Language and that you would of said a lot worse :tickedoff: DO you have children? I am and do not like to see this sort of thing on any forum it is against forum rules OK.
Off to sit on my hands now byfore I type something I should not. I am sure any decent person/parent would whole heartedly agree with me.
This is a lovely forum and its a shame some people do not listen to the rules and abide by them. :)

i will agree with you in saying this is a lovely forum, but for you to be so rude to me isnt on! does it really matter to you that i havnt been on this forum very long? i am entitled to my opinion at the end of the day, i did not use any offencive language so why do you feel the need to jump down my throat? what have i done thats made you so upset :o

i understand why people have a problem with the language if children are reading it but if their children are old enough to be using a computer than they should know the difference in whats right/wrong and good/bad language :)

But I did state that often the children are sat next to me, whilst I am on my laptop. The eight year old is mildly Autistic but if you met him you would never know he can and does use a computer all the time to learn on he never goes on the internet. My four year old sounds words out all the time now he has started school but does not know how to use a computer.

auch rebecca, its only typical that i tell u about the forum and then it goes sour... haha!

theres always horrible storys in the papers about teesside... i lived there for 2 years and the people are so lovely but like everywhere there are a few bad apples that spoil it for everyone else!

i assume that I'm gonna get death threats for this... but there were times when my first two pigs were sick and they kept me awake all night that i told my father i was for chucking them out the window just to get some sleep... of course id never have done it... but its awful to have that level of desperation and when i think about how i felt i get angry with myself.... I'm not in any way condoning what she did because i cant contemplate how anyone would actually hurt a defenceless animal but at the end of the day she'll have to live with that on her conscience for the rest of her life... i dont know about u, but i couldnt live with myself, and i hope it has the same effect on her..

theres a special place in rainbow bridge for this piggie ;)
 
if she has any conscience i hope so , doesnt bring that poor critter back :'(
