Whilst giving Chas a cuddle today, I noticed a bit of fur missing above his nose almost between his eyes. Just wondered if it is anything to worry about. If so, off to the vets!

Does he bar chew? If so it could just be hair that has rubbed away. However, it does look possibly fungal to me though, possibly ringworm so a vets diagnosis is needed. Does he have a friend? if so do they have any similar patches?

He is part of a trio. Other two seem ok. I have never noticed him to bar chew, Dave does though. The patch is a little raised and he is fine with me touching it, even tries to lick me whilst I'm checking it out! Thanks for the reply.

In case it is fungal be very careful with hygiene especially between handling him and the others. If the diagnosis is fungal I recommend Imaverol dips, though if it is ringworm he would also benefit from an oral fungal medication like Itrafungol.

F10 is a good anti-fungal discinfectant and they do handgel and handwash too.
