Hi,

Just found out that 2 of my guinea pigs got this strange crusty mouth in their corners and is stretching onto their nose. I read that could be to due citrus fruit and oranges, but not sure.
It looks like this-

I read that it might need it antibiotik treatment, is there anything online I can buy worlwide? Or is there I can use something else. Does anybody knows whether is due to citrus fruit or could it be something else?
Many thanks for all your help.

I would print off the Guinea Lynx page you've got here and take it with you to the vet. I know apple can cause mouth sores, but they don't normally look that bad. Unless of course it has allowed an infection to take hold.

Perhaps another member will know the type of medication to use.

I think that your piggies need to be seen by a vet; that looks pretty bad!

I agree with Suzie that printing out that page may help.
