I don't know if this is in the right category, or if someone posted a topic like this, but I'll give it a go anyway. ?/ I know how to make a cuddle cup for piggies but is it ok if you only choose fleece for a fabric? It said in the tutorial that you have to choose a fabric for the inner layer, outer layer, and the middle layer. But is it possible to make it just out of fleece? Because we don't have any other fabric, and my parents won't let me spend that much fabric on two little cuddle cups. And also, is a small doggy bed ok for piggies? Because if all fails, I can just buy a doggy bed. -c Thanks everyone! xoxo

I believe the middle layer is for the purpose of padding, which tbh it doesnt cost that much to get out of somewhere like hobbycraft :) As for the outer layer fleece should be fine on its own. If I'm right in thinking that the purpose of the middle layer is simply for added warmth/comfort then you could get away with just fleece.

But I am just guessing here! I'd wait for someone more experienced to tell you if I'm right or not :) xx

I have a cuddle cup that is a fleece outer and inner layer but with padding between, this padding is to help keep the cups shape and so i'd assume if you don't want a floppy cup then you'd need some form of padding.
My piggies all have doggy beds, they're perfectly safe as long as you keep an eye out for any big damage as you would with any product.
Have you tried being to any charity shops ? they often have small pillows like neck cushions and just kids decorative pillows that you can use to cover in fleece, i got a couple for just 30p the other day, you'll be amazed at what you can find (:
