Cuddle time with the girls!

I had the girls out for cuddles the other day. They were so cute, Freya was getting herself all comfy, lying down and sticking her little leg out (she's never done this with me before cos she quite nervous). Then I got Lexi up on my lap with her and she lay down and started falling asleep. Her eyes were almost closed at one point. They've never been so cuddly towards me and it was so sweet.

They enjoy their cuddle time, but are a bit scared of floor time at the moment. Any ideas on how I can help them enjoy it more are welcome, as I know their cage is a bit too small for the both of them (I'm going to get a C&C one sorted soon) so I want them to have lots of floor time, but all they want to do is go back in the cage . They are getting there though so hopefully they'll settle down soon.

Wow, those are some very cute girls with fantastic coats

They look pretty big or is that the camera angle? Any way, they're clearly very happy to be around you so you could work that ito floor time.

Here's what my wife and I do. We have a large-ish play area set aside in the flat using a medium play pen from P@H. We have three different tubes/tunnels in there (including a nice furry one from P@H which the boys love) and a couple of old cuddly toys. When it's time to play, one of us sits in the play area with them and talk to them/try to interact with them. That way they know we're nearby and they get the extra stimulus they need. Most of time they can't stop zooming and popcorning in and out of the tubes and between our legs. If they're feeling shy, they can hide in the tubes for a little while too. Hope that helps

They aren't very big really, it must be the camera adding on the pounds lol . They're a year old, so don't know if they have any more growing to do or not.

Thats exactly how I felt...I felt so proud that they felt so comfortable and relaxed around me .
