Cuddle Time

How many of you have guinea pigs who enjoy snuggling into your arm and sleeping? Hovis had cuddle time tonight after floor time. Even though he's the only one who runs up my thighs when i'm on my knees, he usually prefers to spend a few minutes with me before going off on another jaunt, this is the third actual time he's slept on jumper Very settled little lad

Both my girls love to settle in for a good snooze on our laps.
They smoosh down almost flat, totally relaxed, my kids call it "melting mode". And they often purr - not audibly, just vibrating. Who needs a cat?!

Digby and Roxie are cuddly pigs. Paris will sit on your lap for a bit. The skinnies hate it and Jezabel isn't sure yet

Our girls, Eleanor and Lucy, are getting snugglier as time goes on! They're quite content to just hunker down on my chest while I lie on the couch. Lucy moreso than Eleanor... Eleanor likes to climb up shoulders and arms still! The girls we're adopting tomorrow (AHHH!), Elvira and Marigold, are already quite the snugglers! The very first time I held Marigold, she just nestled against my chest and stayed there. Love at first sight!

Last night after I gave my piggy medicine which she hates I took her to some blankets but she wouldn't snuggle. I thought this was strange but I noticed that I had a bright desk lamp shining on me so I covered myself with a blankeet sort of like a tent. Iit was so funny, the instant I did that she squeaked a little bit and wandered arou d sniffing my face. Then she lay down on her side and went to sleep.
