Cuddles For Barlo

Cuddles with my bereaved little one He's doing ok-ish....quieter than usual, and a little apprehensive to come to me for food. Mostly eating ok...is still eating but just very slowly. Contacted a rescue yesterday to get the ball rolling on boar dating. My eldest daughter isn't too keen, explained that it's not to replace Barnaby, but that Barlo needs the company.

Poor little Barlo, he is such a sweet little guy.
Nothing could ever replace beautiful Barnaby, as he was so close to Barlo, but I agree, he does need company.

He looks just like my Georgie! Bless him, I bet he's lonely.I had to do the same when I lost Sam a couple of months ago as Georgie was very quiet and subdued and it was hard as I didn't want to replace Sam but it was the right thing to do as Georgie and his new cage mate guiseppe are best buddy's now and the difference in him is very noticeable x

I'm glad your Georgie is happier with a new friend I'm am getting a little impatient waiting to hear back from a rescue I've got to admit, but I know they must be extremely busy! I'm just keen to get the ball rolling. Lovely to hear a success story with boar bonding
As my daughter said - 'he needs someone bossy!' Barlo spent ALL his time following Barnaby around so he is a little lost bless him. Still eating, but just not as active, really sad to see him all alone in there. Hopefully I'll hear back from one by the end of the week.
