Hi everyone,
I had three female piggies and i took on another female who was eight weeks old to help a friend out. It turn out she got pregnant at seven weeks ,she had three lovely babies one female two males. I was going to sell the two males when lockdown started. So i don't know whether to try sell them once things get back to normal or take the two males to the vets for the snip and try introduced them to my herd. My question would this work or should it be only one male in a herd. I must admit the longer i have them more attached i am. They are getting on great together.

You can only have one male per herd. I would also suggest you try and pass them onto a rescue rather than trying to sell them. Email local rescues to let them know you have some piggies you want to surrender. They usually have a waiting list.

Thank you for replying. I thought that was the case one male in a herd. I think i might keep them they are so cute and get on great together and have lovely characters. At the moment they are in a c&c cage together.

Make sure they have enough space and can’t escape to get in with the ladies.
