Have been playing around with Herbie & Curly's C&C cage in the playroom. I'm fed up trying to pick hay out of fleece and vetbed so decided to try to add a "hay loft". The boys weren't too keen at first, but they've got the hang of the ramp now and they whizz up and down it like maniacs! ;D

Also took the opportunity to get some up to date photos of the boys (must do the girlies and Jazz soon too) and thought I would share.

Curly "what you doing with that thing mum?"

"Can I have a closer look?"

"What you expect me to eat my tea whilst you're watching?"

"Don't expect me to eat with my mouth shut will you just because you're poking that thing in my face!"

"What is he like, I wouldn't behave like that, in fact butter wouldn't melt!"

"Go away mum I'm hungry and I won't eat with you sitting there!"

Herbie (last two pictures) is the opposite of his brother, he is a very nervous piggy but loves cuddles once he's had the indignity of being chased round the cage to catch him!

Hope you enjoy!

I love your cage setup! If there wasn't the problem of Gypsy going in and getting cozy with the pigs, I'd have a cage life that :] Instead my dad and I are in the middle of building a big cage. it'll be quite interesting, haha.

How long did it take them to figure out to go upstairs for the hay? Thats what I want to do with their cage.

Your pigs are sooo cute and I LOVE the pics of Curly (right?) eating! He looks so innocent and...chubby! haha.

Herbie's coat is really unique. I've never seen anything like it!

I love your piggies! :smitten:

Gorgeous pigs, and I love the commentary with the photos, made me laugh out loud! ;D

teddies or rexes - i love them :smitten: nice cage too :)

Thanks everyone :). The boys figured out the ramp within about 48 hours juniormylove, although I did have to put a small tunnel under the end of it to raise it up a little, making the actual slope less steep. They now run up and down it like a pair of nutters and quite often there is a bit of a stand off when one is on the way up and the other on the way down!

The hay area has helped to keep the strands from getting stuck in the fleece/vetbed but they poo just as much in the main area as before - they are boys after all!

Curly is a real chubster and weighs well over 3lb (Herbie is even heavier!). He is very cheeky and is constantly on the look out for food and an ear scratch! Herbie is much quieter than his brother but if you sit in the run with him and ignore him, curiosity eventually gets the better of him and he will come over to investigate, but cuddles have to be on his terms! :)

okay, thanks caviesgalore!

WOW curly's big! I should weigh my pigs...that would be interesting.
