hi just a quick question can piggys eat curly kale? as i have bought it today and not sure if they can eat it, and does it have to be cooked or given raw

I'm sure you can! I read somewhere that its really good for them and I think we've given ours some kale before :)

Yes they can and they love it. :))
I think it's quite high in calcium though so mine only get it as a treat.

Kale is fine...mine love it but I only give it to them occasionally due to the high calcium levels. Wouldn't advise giving them too much though as it is a cruciferous veggie and can cause a gassy tum so don't give alongside any other dark green veggie stuff :(
I plan a menu every evening as I buy fresh daily and buy a bag once a fortnight so know they don't have too much of the same foodstuff :(|)

Never cook anything for the piggies or buy pre cooked food - same goes for frozen. You'd be amazed at how many people ask why I don't buy frozen veg and defrost for them or ask why I don't give them pickled beetroot :(

Ooh yes! Mine love it! I'm gutted as I have no big supermarkets here that aren't at least 30 mins walk away and the smaller ones don't stock curly kale :(.

Might have to get some to deliver :))

Just started my piggies on it and they love it!
