Cut on bottom and hair loss when brushing! :(

You do not have to get rid of your hay. You can microwave it all. That is what I did to mine when I found mites in there.

How long will i need to do it for?

Also, she is a bit in need of a bottom bath, I have tried brushing it but her hair is too short to actually achieve anything. Would i be able to wash her bottom whilst she is having the spot on as she is looking pretty grotty? or is there any other way to do it?

Bit of an update...

I have today given the girls their second dose of xeno. The gingers are still looking fine and all pigs including Rosie are happy and lively.
However I did notice that Rosie's neck was looking a little bare, and on closer inspection her tummy hair is a little bit thin (She hasn't got a very hairy tummy anyway) . Obviously her tummy is an area that she will be able to reach with her mouth so I am thinking she may have have been pulling the hair out whilst itching.
I am going to continue to monitor her over the next 2 weeks to see if there is an improvement now that they have all had two treatments, just wondered if anyone else had experience of self-barbering of the tummy and whether this is common with mites?
Thanks
