Cut the quick

Doing Frodo’s nail trims and cut too close.
poor baby, but I think he’s forgive me - he’s licking my fingers and I’m giving him lots of blueberries as an apology which he’s pretty much hoovering down.
Currently he’s sitting on a plate of flour to stop the bleeding. Feel terrible about it, what a mistaka to make-a!

Don’t worry.
I always have a dish of cornflour at hand for nail trimMing.
Phoebe is such a wriggler it rare she doesn’t get one of the quicks cut.
Dill works wonders in this situation.
