Cystease (and equivalents) vs Vegan Glucosamine tabs?

Just a quickie, is vegan glucosamine similar to the cystease and equivalents? I bought some from H&B’s as I saw it linked on a thread here and wondered how it would differ from cystease etc?

I am thinking about starting it for him tomorrow if it’s the same/similar or get the real deal if it’s not. He’s still on his metacam twice daily as well.

Yes, it is. Cystease and the other brands are all glucosamine based.

I think that there are now some further additives, but if you want to go for the plain glucosamine, that is perfectly fine as that is the main active ingredient.

• 125mg - N-Acetyl Glucosamine.
• 37.5mg - L-Tryptophan. ( reduces stress)
• 10mg - Hyaluronic Acid.
