Just thought I'd post this thread saying that I have been giving cytease now for about 2 months for Dot and her I. C, I kid you not, she is like a brand new piglet lol, she doesn't lay in discomfort anymore, she used to lay and keep finding more comfy positions, she doesn't yelp at all when urinating now, she's didn't do this much, but sometimes. I have also stopped kale for around 2 weeks aswell ( maybe it's this)

My question is, is I don't know how long to keep giving her the cytease, because I. C can clear up, if I keep giving her the cytease, il never know if she hasnt got the i. C anymore.

Almost forgot, maybe she hasn't got I. C anymore and it just looks like the cytease is working, I guess this is when the vet comes in to it.

Hi! Please keep on giving the cystease for at least 12 months after the last flare-up. Keep in mind that further flare-ups can happen anytime between 2-9 months after the last one, so you are by no means out of the woods yet. Sterile IC is a long distance game and not a quick and easy fix.

OK cool, thankyou.. It really is good stuff, but I think to keep affording it without going ouch, I need to start buying it in bulk online. I think I'm at the stage where it has finally started to line her bladder wall, and that's the difference I'm seeing in her health right now

It is worth buying a bigger box or switching to vegan human glucosamine (I think Holland and Barrett do some).
