Daisy and Daffodil were taken in from a breeder who had decided to stop breeding and supplying the Rackheath auctions close to me.

Poor Daisy gave up her fight for life after being here only a few weeks. Cheryl had trimmed her teeth for me, having never seen teeth at the back in such a bad state. Unfortunatley we just couldn't help her gain enough strength and weight to carry on living. She was malnourished and had been bred back to back. She had cuddle just before dying as I knew she had given up.

After a lot of medication and love I had to have poor Daffodil PTS yesterday. The abcess that had formed at the back of her eye had cleared. However it had come back twice as bad, this time smothering one side of her face.
It was so solid and she was far too weak to take an anesthetic to have it drained so I made a decision that she should go and meet Daisy. If I had treated her with other drugs I was advised that it might work this time but it would return and she would lose the eye which had started bleeding.

They were dear sisters to each other so I send them my love as they cross over the rainbow bridge together into the meadows of flowers, where they belong.

I'm so sorry about little Daffodil - both she and Daisy had far too much to contend with in their lives, but you gave them every chance, and they knew they were loved by you. And now both of them can play in the daisies and daffodils over the Bridge.

That must have been a really hard choice to make. At least she had your care and attention for a short time this must have made her life more bearable.

I know she'll be enjoying the sunshine with her sister on the rainbow bridge.

Oh love nooooooo, i'm so so sorry 8...8...8...
RIP Daffodil run free at the bridge have fun chattering away with your dear sister and all the other lovely piggies, i'm sure you've been shown the green grass and clover patches and the dandelions too, you're going to be so sadly missed but NEVER forgotten xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So sad, the poor little loves :( at least they had you to care for them in their remaining time here.

RIP Daffodil x

I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of both Daffodil, and Daisy. They are both at peace now, grateful for the love and TLC you gave them in their time with you. xx

I'm really very sorry to hear your sad news. I know you did everything that you could. It was a brave decision and the right one but sometimes that doesn't help too much.

As you know though - it's not the length of time we have them it's the depth of our love that really counts.

RIP little girls, you were very precious. xx

Dear Claire
I am so sorry at your loss of both Daisy and Daffodil they were lovely girls and I know how hard you worked to give them a good life - you did what you could for them and gave them a happy end to their cruel earlier days.

RIP little Daisy and Daffodil have fun on Rainbow Bridge playing with all our other friends.

((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) x

So sorry to hear about Daffodil, sometimes you can do as much as you can and it's just not meant to be, these little sweethearts do tend to make us work, don't they?

RIP xx
