Training for nail cuts and medication/syringe feed
Gently fondle your babies' feet and body before you have to get serious about nail and hair cutting each time you cuddle them, so they are used to being handled and manipulated. This makes the 'real' first exercise much less of an ordeal. Praise your piggies and bathe them with approval while you do it!

Weekly life-long health check and care
Weigh your piggy and give the whole body a gentle go-over and look and feel for changes and lumps.
It is not a bad idea to take pictures of the various body parts once your piggies have settled in well enough, so you can compare any subtle changes more easily down the years if necessary when you are not quite sure whether a change may have happened or is significant enough.
