Just saw an article on the Daily Mail facebook page about a lady who lost her pig after getting terribly frightened by nearby fireworks and wanted to let you all know about it if you don't know already. I didn't watch the video taken with it because it would have upset me more. The article more or less says fireworks should be one night only which I agree with.

I truly feel for everyone who has lost their pigs during this firework season. Sending my condolences out to everyone❤ I'm so glad mine have been okay.
 
That’s so sad. I agree they should only be aloud for guy forks and maybe New Year’s Eve and that’s it. And I think everyone that uses them should have a license. I feel for the wild animals also that have no one to comfort them. It must be terrifying for them 😔
 
There's no need for them to be as loud as they are :( and people setting them off near barns and livestock like this person did need prosecuting. Poor piggy..
 
Some people are just feral! They spoil it for everyone, luckily it’s very quiet and rural where we live. Couldn’t do urban!

Oh goodness, I hope he is found safe and well. My cats thankfully come in for their tea at 5 and then they're in for the night but some idiot let one off at 3pm.yesterday whilst Harrison was sat out in the garden
 
A friend received a ticket from the police officer for letting her dog out when the weather got cold. Her neighbor reported her and two police officers came by to check and her dog was indeed outside. Police officer rang the door bell and asked her to get her dog inside the house, then issued her a ticket to pay the fine. The fine was pretty hefty, and she had to pay it. She said she learned her lessons. I am in US.
Police also ask that your pets are secure during fireworks.

She isnt chipped and doesnt have a collar, my brother is stupid for not sorting this out.

Our police force are under staffed and pretty useless. Not all

I wish the same rules applied here :( One of my neighbours has a small dog and they are always leaving poor thing out in the garden barking. He was even out there on bonfire night although like I say, Thankfully there haven't been many around here
 
How sad :(

None of my guinea pigs (indoors) have ever been bothered by fireworks in 8 years but my youngest piggie I got 2 months ago literally freezes. She's so scared. I've taken to tossing her the largest handful of hay to hide inside and throwing treats around the cage. She seems to have gotten a little better with them to distract her but seeing her freeze like that was so sad.
 
Hate fireworks! None of mine seem too bothered but they need to be banned
