My guinea pig is 4 1/2, Male. Since he was little he has always had a sensitive stomach and so throughout the years what (at least I thought) kept him at his healthiest digestive wise was feeding him a slice of green bell pepper everyday and romaine lettuce.
Is this bad? Have I been underfeeding my guinea pig all this time? Feeding him anything more than that would always upset his tummy though. Please let me know your thoughts

Hay is the most important part of the diet - as long as you have been giving him unlimited amounts of hay every day and his weight is stable at each routine weekly check, then you haven’t been under feeding him.

For veg, The recommended amount is one cup per day (the four safe daily veggies are coriander/cilantro, lettuce, bell pepper and cucumber). However, if he has struggled with digestive issues relating to vegetables then you have done absolutely the right thing in keeping the veg portion of his diet to what you know he is comfortable with.
